This preparation is indicated in intestinal indigestion with pain in the intestinal canal commencing almost an hour after eating. Also, very effective in diarrhoea of children where the stool contains undigested fat particles. Clinically, it has been of excellent service in diabetes, mumps, gout and pancreas diseases. It is also helpful for conditioning atonic dyspepsia due to impaired secretion or defective composition of the digestive enzymes secreted. It can also correct the dyspepsia resulting from abnormal digestion of food.
